use ardour www.ardour.org its a highly versatile recording prog -donation ware -I really like this idea -the way it's put together and the community it supports where everyone is a beta tester able to submit their own experiences,

I bought a lot of second hand C15 computer tapes really cheap they came with different games on; amiga, commodor, sinclair etc, Boots own brand, whsmith, C15 is a perfect length to record onto, seven and a half minute tracks - its sad in a way to record over the games but then its recycling as they were destined for the skip.
