This is the Fossdyke canal projet, an ancient waterway, audio work will feature as part of the project. Check out the link for details. ADCXX is a multi-disciplinary Science, Art, Historical and Ecological project which plans to undertake an enquiry along the Foss Dyke Canal. It is being co-ordinated with a view to introducing local people (and others) back to the canal and in the process to reach a better understanding of the history and context of this historic waterway. An exhibition will be created and displayed in locations along the Fossdyke and Saxilby etc and in Lincoln itself, together with outdoor events taking place on the Brayford Pool and along the Canal. The project will be linked to other arts events in Stoke on Trent and in Liverpool using the canal waterways via the tidal river Trent. It is hoped that we can send a barge with “artists in residence” along the route initiating contemporary arts events and encouraging the local communities to engage with and celebrate these ancient waterways
